The Problem I Had to Solve

I refused to accept that safety meant carrying a heavy anchor on your ski. Traditional rollerski brakes are bulky, weighing anywhere from 150g to 400g. They destroy the balance of the ski and ruin your technique. Even worse, typical brakes work by grinding flat spots into your expensive polyurethane wheels, causing vibration and forcing you to buy replacements constantly. I needed a system that was invisible until you needed it—and one that actually respected the equipment.
